Bill Cosby's Alleged Victim Speaks Out After Case Was Dismissed

Prosecutors had asked that 13 other women be allowed to testify at the June trial to suggest Cosby had a 50-year history of drugging and molesting women.

The sexual assault at the center of the trial is a 2004 incident where Cosby is accused of drugging and raping Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania mansion.

And Philadelphia defense lawyer William Brennan calls the ruling "the best of times and the worst of times" for Cosby.

In a one-page order, Judge Steven T. O'Neill offered little explanation for his decision to bar prosecutors from calling 12 other women they hoped would establish a decades-long pattern of sexual misconduct by Cosby. However, that will become more hard if the prosecution is able to present another woman with a similar account. This is latest of many defamation suits against Cosby to be thrown out. She says she was incapacitated and then was sexually assaulted by Cosby. Cosby also settled with Constand in the midst of the deposition.

Cosby's criminal case involves a single encounter with Constand, a former Temple University basketball team employee who has given the media permission to identify her publicly.

Prosecutors say Cosby used his fame and notoriety to gain her trust.

The additional accuser who can testify worked for one of Cosby's agents and had known the entertainer for six years when he invited her to lunch at his bungalow at the Bel Air Hotel to discuss her acting ambitions. She said she then recalls him sexually assaulting her on his bed.

Prosecutors had asked the judge to allow 13 other accusers to testify.

"We have seen a barrage of new accusers claiming, 'Me, too, '" defense lawyer Angela Agrusa said a year ago, arguing against the "prior bad act" testimony.
