Love seeks second opinion on knee injury

Source tells ESPN that Kevin Love will undergo a scope on his L knee and miss six weeks. He underwent an MRI on Sunday, and while the Cavs have not disclosed results of the procedure, the fact that Love will visit another doctor suggests that something was detected.

The 28-year-old had complained of soreness and had swelling in his knee following Saturday's win over Denver. Love's name had floated in trade rumours for weeks, but following some recent strong performances, coach Tyronn Lue dismissed the notion that the four-time All-Star was going anywhere.

Love recently moved past a back issue that forced him to miss several games due to spasms.

Love is averaging 20.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Cavaliers (37-16), who have won five of their last six.

The rumors will continue to spread, but Kevin Love is a Cleveland Cavalier and knee surgery isn't going to change that.

In a statement on the Cavaliers' website, Love had arthroscopic surgery in New York City on his left knee.

The All-Star forward will miss at least six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday, a blow to the defending National Basketball Association champions. The 28-year-old has a 9.2 net rating that makes him a top member of the Cavaliers and his on/off rating of plus-12.0 makes him almost on par with Lebron James. This is obviously a major blow to both the Cavs and to Love owners.

But Lue said Love now faced a further examination on Tuesday to assess his injury. While these two players are also key members of the team, the Cavs have been able to play relatively well and maintain the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

When asked whether it would be possible for players to not see the story scenes, Aonuma replied: "Yeah, it's totally possible". Of course, Miyamoto quickly clarified that this wasn't the case with Breath of the Wild , to which Aonuma readily agreed.

Anthony has always been linked with a move to Cleveland, and the Love injury will only hype this speculation as we approach trade deadline day. "We'll be ready to play against whoever we step on the floor with".

But James, who has sat out only three games this season, said any extra workload would not be a burden.

"I had looks I've had all season", George said. The Cavs are already without J.R. Smith, though the shooter could return shortly after the All-Star break.
