Act Fibernet launches 1 GBPS internet connection in Hyderabad.

It'll come with a monthly subscription fee of Rs. 6,900 ($105, exclusive of taxes), along with a bandwidth cap of 1TB for uploads and downloads.

This launch has put ACT Fibernet, Hyderabad and India on the worldwide map also as very few cities across the world boast of being "Giga enabled" cities.

He added that such high speeds will transform the way internet is now being consumed at large and this will fast track the government's target to connect all its 23 million Telangana residents through the Internet by 2018. The company said that it has the best fiber optic technology available and it aims to deliver disrupt and lead technological growth in the country.
