Charles police: Man shot his daughters, wife


His wife was taken to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition Sunday, Kintz said.

Police in the city of St Charles, Illinois, have said that a man called 911 to tell dispatchers that he had shot his twin daughters and his wife and that he was going to shoot himself.

Randall Coffland, 48, and his twin daughters have died along with the twin sisters" mother being shot and injured in what Chicago authorities have described a "domestic related incident'.

Police say the Cofflands were married but living at different addresses, the Daily Herald reports.

Police say officers pulled the adult female from the building, but did not say if she was found inside of the apartment unit where the others were found.
