The Dallas Cowboys are now down two safeties in free agency.

Wilcox, 26, spent his first four seasons with the Cowboys, who drafted him in the third round in 2013.

The actor, who rose to fame for her roles in Girl with a Pearl Earring and Lost in Translation , appeared in a faux perfume advert cuttlingly titled " complicit ".

Wilcox arrived at Tampa Bay on Friday for a free agent visit and also had a free agent visit lined up with Seattle. "So, really, it's nearly like getting - he's young, he's only 26 - but it's like getting an even younger player because of the inexperience at the position, yet he has started quite a few games there". Unfortunately, he was never able to cash in on his promise and athleticism while with the Cowboys. Wilcox started all 16 games at free safety that year, recording 81 total tackles. With three starters and a key role player hitting free agency this past week, the Cowboys secondary could potentially be riddled with several important holes to fill.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed former Dallas Cowboys safety J.J. He constantly took poor angles while trying to chase down wide receivers, leading to big plays by the opposing team. Wilcox was eventually replaced in the starting lineup by first round selection Byron Jones.

Empires can be squashed under the weight of subpar endings (can anyone reference How I Met Your Mother without ruminating about that fatal last episode?).

Wilcox had the best season of his career in 2016, although it did not look as impressive statistically because the team was not relying on its safeties to make as many tackles.

Now, the Cowboys are down two safeties. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to get Dallas to commit to him past his rookie contract.

Jeff Heath, who has made his name mostly as a special teamer, is in line to become the Dallas Cowboys' starting strong safety next season.
