White House press secretary avoiding on-camera briefings, barred from Air Force One

He was among a group of US President Donald Trump's closest aides who were barred from Air Force One, after Trump erupted in frustration at his staff during an Oval Office meeting, the New York Times reports.

USA companies added a solid 235,000 workers to their payrolls in February, the Department of Labor reported Friday morning, while the unemployment and labor force participation rates remained little changed. In January, the US added 238,000 jobs; in September it tacked on 249,000.

Trump campaigned as a political outsider during the 2016 presidential election, repeatedly vowing he would "drain the swamp" in Washington, D.C. and end government corruption.
