Australia, New Zealand back Trump's fight against Canada's 'very unfair' dairy industry

Canada changed its policy on pricing its domestic milk to cover more dairy ingredients, leading to lower prices for Canadian products including ultra-filtered milk that compete with the US product.

Trump says Canada has been "very, very unfair".

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Dairy Farmers of New Brunswick, Paul Gaunce, believes the current trade agreement works well for both Canada and the US, rejecting's Trump's view it's a one-sided deal.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker fired off a joint letter to President Donald Trump on Tuesday, urging him to address Canadian dairy trade policies that are seen as harmful to milk producers in the United States.
