Bill O'Reilly loses even more advertisers amid sexual harrassment allegations

A Chevrolet spokeswoman confirmed in an email to Advertising Age, a sibling publication of Automotive News, that the auto brand "had a very limited advertising buy on Fox News in the first quarter of 2017" adding that "we have no immediate plans to advertise on Fox News on a national level". The network did not elaborate. The companies included Allstate Corp., Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, BMW of North America, Constant Contact, GlaxoSmithKline, Mercedez-Benz, Sanofi SA, Untuckit, and T.Rowe Price.

O'Reilly's 8pm news-discussion program is the highest-rated on cable, with an average 4 million viewers. That focus was on display Tuesday, as Fox did frequent stories about whether a top Obama adviser had spied on Trump associates for political purposes, along with stories pointing out that other news organizations had done relatively little on the story.

A Coldwell Banker ad ran during Tuesday night's episode, but the real estate company tweeted afterwards, "We were disappointed that our ad ran on O'Reilly as it wasn't part of our intentional media programming".

Their actions follow a New York Times report last week that said Fox and the channel's star host had settled five sexual harassment complaints worth $13 million with female employees who have worked with O'Reilly over the past 15 years.

O'Reilly, in a statement posted on his website on Saturday, said he had been unfairly targeted because of his prominence.

O'Reilly has denied the claims of sexual harassment, but did not deny paying the settlements - stating that he did so to "put to rest any controversies to spare my children".

Walsh says she declined O'Reilly's entreaties to come up to his room - and that he turned nasty at the bar, telling her there would be no job.

While two of the cases were previously known, the Times said it had unearthed three more cases of harassment, two of a sexual nature and one alleging verbally abusive behavior by O'Reilly.

Guardiola also reiterated his belief that City have been affected by controversial referee decisions this season. Hull were favourites to be relegated from the Premier League in December following a awful start to he season.

Despite the growing calls to fire Bill O'Reilly, the Fox News host maintains that the sexual harassment accusations against him have no merit.

If more advertisers leave the program, Fox News and Twenty-First Century Fox may have to respond. Lawsuits depict a frat-house environment at the company's NY headquarters.

Meanwhile, we've reached out to Fox News Channel. "Mr. O'Reilly is fully committed to supporting our efforts to improve the environment for all our employees at Fox News".

On Monday, Fox News contributor Julie Roginsky filed a separate sexual harassment suit against Ailes. But, as the Times reported, The O'Reilly Factor generated $446 million in revenue between 2014 and 2016. The network has renewed O'Reilly's contract for an undisclosed period of time.
