Bills player reportedly asked police to shoot him after climbing electric fence


His vehicle wasn't involved in the accident.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Bills offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio was taken to the hospital for observation after police found him without any trousers on in suburban Buffalo field.

According to a report from the Buffalo News, Kouandjio was found by police in a field, partially clothed, having hopped an electric fence.

A police source told Buffalo News that they believe Kouandjio pulled off of the highway when he saw emergency personnel responding to the crash. He was then transported to Eric County Medical Center for further evaluation.

The Buffalo Bills, in a statement, said that they were monitoring Kouandjio's condition and gathering information about the incident.

When the Bills hit their training facility for OTAs on Thursday, Kouandjio was absent. "We don't have all of the details, so we won't have any further comment at this time", the Bills said in a statement.
