Durant (calf) might sit for Warriors on Wednesday night

Durant was Golden State's leading scorer in their 121-109 Game 1 victory.

ESPN's Marc Stein reported Wednesday, citing sources, that Durant missed the team shootaround due to a strained calf that he suffered during the Warriors' Game 1 victory. He returned for Game 4 of that series, against the Rockets, but missed Golden State's next four playoff games, including three against the Blazers, and had trouble showing the form that led to two straight MVP awards. The 7-footer still isn't 100 percent from a nondisplaced fracture in his right leg that sidelined him for the final seven regular-season games.

The Warriors also ruled out two other forwards, Matt Barnes (ankle) and Kevon Looney (hip), as well as guard Shaun Livingston (finger), for Wednesday's game. Portland played again without center Jusuf Nurkic, and missed him. Usually Curry likes to set the table out of the gate, but given Golden State's holes, it was on him to self-generate some offense. He is hopeful of playing in Saturday's Game 3 at Portland as the Warriors try to take a 3-0 lead in the series, though coach Steve Kerr said being up two games could affect any decision.

CNN criticized on Earth Day for daring to air a climate skeptic
He then went on to say that the "demonization of carbon dioxide is just like the demonization of the poor Jews under Hitler". This is not controversial in mainstream science , everybody".

Couple those potent scoring runs with a quiet night from Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum (23 combined points) and the Trail Blazers really stood no chance.

"I'm not sure if he felt it at the end of the game or if he felt it after", Kerr said.

"I think that we found ways to score".

Despite the fact that Stephen Curry was cold shooting the ball from the beginning, the team managed to push themselves to a 16-point advantage after the first quarter. Lillard and McCollum played out of their minds in Game 1, but Golden State took their game to another level in the fourth quarter and Portland simply couldn't keep up.

Record number of runners prepare for London Marathon challenge
The royal trio kicked off the 2017 London Marathon on Sunday ( they got to press a large button! ), then camped out at a cheering point to support the runners.

"You have to be careful", Kerr said, adding that a final decision on Durant's fitness for Wednesday would be taken after the morning shootaround. Meanwhile the Blazers are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games, 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 7-18-2 ATS in their last 27 Conference Quarterfinals games.

Harkless had a team-high eight rebounds to complement his 15 points and Evan Turner dished a team-high seven assists for the Trail Blazers, who are facing the top-seeded team in West for the third time in the last four years.

"That's my whole thing, I just try to be efficient out there", McGee said. So we'll go without our guys and see how we can do. Thompson scored 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting. It complicates things but it's just the reality of the National Basketball Association, so you just adapt and hopefully come up with a good plan and the players go out there and compete and play well and we'll see what happens.

Part of Durant sitting out for Game 2 is a strategic one for the Warriors.

Westbrook stars in Oklahoma City Thunder's crucial victory
I've been railing on him most of the season, but his presence down low was key to Houston's frustrations on dribble drives. Harden also needs just 44 points to surpass Moses Malone (1,089) for the second-most playoff points in Rockets' history.

That's the sentiment he had when reporters asked about the Warriors' adjustments if Durant is unable to play Game 2.
