Facebook's AR Studio Tool Enables Real-Time Augmented Reality For Sports Videos

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to the stage today during the company's annual F8 conference to discuss the future of computing and Facebook's multiple platforms.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has unveiled the Tech giant's first augmented reality system - and confirmed reports that a "mind control" interface is being created. "We have a lot of work and we will keep doing all we can to prevent tragedies like this from happening", Zuckerberg said. Now, this is act two: "giving developers the power to build all kinds of AR tools into the first augmented reality platform, the camera", he continued. The Camera Effects platform is created to be compatible with future augmented reality hardware, such as eyeglasses but in the meantime the effects will be available inside Facebook's Camera feature on smartphones.

"This year's keynote shows Facebook is serious about catching up in this area and competing with Snapchat and others".
