Google Duo Now Supports Audio Calling All Over the Globe!

Just last month, Google rolled out a new feature on its Google Duo app in Brazil.

In March, Google announced it was beginning to roll out support for audio-only calling in its FaceTime and Whatsapp competitor, Duo, which had previously focused on video calls. Now you can use Duo as your sole calling app without having to worry about what you'll do during those times. The former was a messaging app with the integrated Google Assistant, while the latter was a video calling app. Moreover, Google claims the voice-calling feature should work very well on all connection speeds, and it's light on data usage.

The decision is likely to be seen as a snub by the Russians, who on Friday were said to still be preparing for the visit. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson insisted, however, that defeating ISIL in Syria remained Washington's top priority.

This is not the first time that any company added only voice chat to the video chat software.

In May 2016, Google announced two new apps - Google Allo and Google Duo. Essentially Android's answer to Facetime on iOS, the app lets you easily set up a video call for anyone in your address book, provided they have the app installed first.

It was his second straight season with double digit sacks, and he looked like a long term member of the team. If this is indeed true, then the Redskins could have a situation on their hands.

Even Google's own Hangouts used to have audio, video calls and text messaging on the platform. It maintains the idea of simplicity that Google designed the app with.

Whatever be the case, Google has made it more convincing for you to download Duo, and it can prove to be quite useful in emerging markets where internet connectivity is not strong and audio calls are preferred over video calls.
