No Role in Libya Because 'US Has Enough Roles'

"I think the USA right now has enough role, we are in a role everywhere so I do not see that", he said as Gentiloni stared ahead.

"I want to get both", Trump said during a joint press conference with his Italian counterpart. Trump continued, "We are analyzing it very carefully and we'll have something to say about it in the not too distant future".

Italy now does not pay the agreed to 2% of its GDP on North Atlantic Treaty Organisation defenses.

One day after Donald Trump called Canada a "disgrace" for policies that hurt American farmers, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he plans to be respectful and engage with the US on a fact-based approach to solve problems.

"As we reaffirm our support for historic institutions, we must also reaffirm the requirement that everyone must pay their full and fair share for the cost of defense", Trump said.
