#PrepareToDine - Bandai Namco is teasing a mysterious new project

This morning, the publisher revealed a short, unexplained teaser trailer, with next to zero information supporting it other than the hashtag #PrepareToDine.

It seems likely that Bandai Namco is simply trying to capitalize on the popularity of Dark Souls to get people interested in a brand new project.

We're hoping that whatever this project is holds onto this teaser's aesthetic, if nothing else. Since that sounds very familiar to From Software's Dark Souls series, we're not sure how to feel.

"Enjoy this original animation inspired by a new title in development by Bandai Namco Entertainment", reads a statement on the Bandai Namco website, "due to be announced on April 20th, 2017".

Indeed, the company has now unveiled a odd video on its worldwide social networks, with the phrase "Prepare to Dine".
