An article Wednesday in The New York Times reported that the brand, Ivanka Trump Marks, has filed four new trademarks in Canada and the Philippines since her father, President Donald Trump, took office.

Painter added that under the Criminal Conflict of Interest statute, she should not be allowed to advise on governmental issues that could affect her company, like trade policies with China.

The trademarks were granted on April 6, the same day that she met Mr Xi at a summit at her father's Mar-a-Lago resort.

"Ivanka has so many China ties and conflicts, yet she and Jared appear deeply involved in China contacts and policy", he said.

All the Trump family knows is how to make and close business deals.

Questions abound in aftermath of NFL star Hernandez's death
In case you forgot, the former New England Patriots tight end was convicted back in 2015 for murdering Odin Lloyd . Those who love and care about him are heartbroken and determined to find the truth surrounding his untimely death.

The poll also finds Ivanka Trump is viewed favorably by 36 percent of respondents and unfavorably by 31 percent. Despite these arguments, Van Susteren still defended Ivanka, claiming "she hasn't done anything wrong" because she needed trademarks to protect her company.

It is only the latest in a series of global trademarks the Trump family has swiftly received since Donald Trump became President - piling on the potential conflicts of interest for him and his kin. USA imports, nearly all from China, shot up an estimated 166 percent a year ago.

Jamie Gorelick, a Washington ethics lawyer who is acting as an independent adviser to Trump's trust, said in a statement that since Trump had resigned from her company, she "has had no involvement with trademark applications submitted by the business". Whatever the case, pundits say the fact Trump made such a remark during a media interview reflects his lack of understanding about Korea, as well as President Xi's possible hegemonic ambitions on the Korean Peninsula.

Overall, Ivanka Trump Marks LLC, her trademarking business, has filed 173 foreign trademarks in 21 countries, as well as in Hong Kong and the European Union, in little more than a decade, according to the Times analysis. Under federal rules, she is now prevented from participating in anything that she has a business interest.

Last week, Lions general manager Bob Quinn said the team is in early stages of talks with the quarterback. As for his future, Stafford said he hasn't anxious too much about his contract talks.

China has also granted preliminary approval for 38 trademarks linked to Donald Trump, giving the US president and his family protection were they to develop the "Trump" brand in the market.

However, her actions on Tuesday show that she is either oblivious to the idea or simply does not care and is willing to use her new position to further her own self-interests.

"I think that's wonderful for Ivanka that her businesses are doing well", Richard Painter, chief White House ethics lawyer for President George W. Bush told CBS, "and, uh, everything would be just fine if she weren't also working in the White House".

The White House referred comments to the Trump Organization, which did not comment.

As Ivanka Trump builds a new political career as an adviser to her father, the commercial engine of her lifestyle brand is going strong. She wore dresses from her eponymous brand to the Republican National Convention, boosting sales of both sheaths; on her official website, she posted photos from the event with captions that included links to where readers could buy her outfits.
