Suzuki returns to Seattle as member of 3000-hit club

Miami's Taiwanese pitcher Chen Wei-Yin had a no-hitter working through seven innings when he was lifted from the Marlins' 5-0 Major League Baseball victory over the Mariners in Seattle on Tuesday.

Chen allowed two walks and hit a batter, striking out two.

Long distance road trip for the Marlins starts tonight as they play the first of a six game west coast stint in Seattle. He allowed all four runs in the first three innings, including one on a wild pitch.

Chen was in total control, throwing 64 of his 100 pitches for strikes and flummoxing the Mariners hitters with his curveball and changeup. Chen got the win, moving him to 2-0 with a 3.94 ERA. Chicago relievers gave up 12 runs and three homers in 9 1/3 innings over the weekend against Pittsburgh.
