Warriors take 2-0 series lead on Blazers, win without Durant

Portland Trail Blazers' shooting percentage as they were restricted by a smothering Golden State Warriors' defence. Clark has been outstanding against the Blazers this year with an average of 13 points on 76 percent shooting during the regular season. The Warriors were saved - from Durant's injury and poor shooting nights from their healthy stars - by Kerr's strength-in-numbers bench ethic and the whole team's defense-first mindset. The Blazers, particularly without center Jusuf Nurkic, can't win if Lillard and McCollum are bottled up.

After spending nearly three decades around the NBA, Kerr recognized that teams that have experienced a significant regular-season injury are better prepared for the unpredictability of the playoffs. Asked before the game why his team wouldn't play Durant (strained left calf) in a playoff game with an injury that's not considered serious, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said, "It's not worth it".

Curry had 19 points and Klay Thompson added 16 as the Warriors won easily despite scoring 11 fewer points than in their 121-109 win in the opening game of the series. He returned for the final three games of the regular season and recorded a pair of double-doubles alongside a 29-point outing. Usually Curry likes to set the table out of the gate, but given Golden State's holes, it was on him to self-generate some offense.

"I miss being out there with them and hopefully I'm out there the next game".

Of course Trump defended O'Reilly
Of course, by Trump's standards, "The O'Reilly Factor" host is a tremendous guy, maybe even the most tremendous person he knows. O'Reilly's comments resulted in a backlash and he ultimately apologized, saying that his comment on Waters' hair was "dumb".

When all was said and done Golden State defended their ground, and won by nearly 30 points.

"We're pretty thin", Kerr said.

If you're keeping score at home, that's 41 points for McCollum, 34 points for Lillard and 34 points for everyone else.

"I wouldn't call it demoralizing", Portland coach Terry Stotts said. "But to get over that hump and beat them, we've got to make those plays and give guys more opportunities so we can have them as well on the offensive end". It was a pretty monstrous block and you know, it was fitting that he got a 3 on the other end because that's what Klay is all about.

U.S., Canada, Mexico partner for joint 2026 World Cup bid
And, if successful, it would be just the second World Cup held in multiple countries (2002 in Korea and Japan was the first). Soccer president Sunil Gulati, the 80-match World Cup would feature 60 matches in the US , 10 in Mexico and 10 in Canada .

With as well as Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum played in Game 1, Portland really should have won the game. But after I thought about that, I reminded myself that it's a series and points don't carry over.

Durant has managed 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in his first season in the Bay Area after choosing the Warriors in free agency.

Durant is listed as questionable, but reports are saying he's closer to doubtful.

Wednesday, the Oakland infirmary included not just Durant, but Shaun Livingston and Matt Barnes. "I'm happy we got the 'W, ' and it's good we didn't blow them out because we won't relax".
