A look at the House Republican health care bill

The controversial new health care bill passed by House Republicans Thursday could send veterans from private insurance plans into the Veterans Affairs medical system, the department's secretary said.

(Mic) - The House may have passed the American Health Care Act on Thursday, kicking the Republican plan to the Senate.

In fact, it happened to numerous Democrats who voted in favor of Obamacare. What did they do to get it through the House, after the bill seemed dead?

Gone also is the all-important individual mandate to buy health insurance - a critical provision to create a large enough pool of healthy people to keep overall prices affordable.

In an unusual move, the entire US Senate has been asked to attend a briefing on North Korea on Wednesday at the White House. More tests are just a way to increase a warhead's yield, or destructive power - and aren't vital to their end goal.

Millions are concerned about the future of their health care as a new bill heads to the Senate.

Influential South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said: "Like y'all, I'm still waiting to see if it's a boy or a girl". This is the most important feature of the bill for the Senate to fix.

Obamacare did not lower health care costs, according to Cooper, and he doesn't think the newly passed bill will lower costs either.
