Apple makes $1B commitment toward more US manufacturing jobs


The US is one of the leading producers of advanced technologies in the world, so it's little surprise that Apple is looking to further invest in this sector, especially as the company stands to directly gain from it. The company will announce the new fund's first investment later in May.

Apple came under fire from President Donald Trump during his campaign because it makes most of its products in China.
