Demolition of White Hart Lane begins

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy handed over the keys to White Hart Lane on Monday after Spurs defeated Manchester United in the final game at the ground.

With this victory, Tottenham claim their club record 14th successive home win and remaining unbeaten at their North London stadium throughout the season.

Tottenham's first goal was scored by Victor Wanyama in the first half.

Spurs played their first competitive game at The Lane on September 9, 1899, when they beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in the Southern League.
