Durant scores 38 points, Warriors beat Jazz to take 3-0 lead

Golden State closed the game on a 24-13 run. While the Warriors' center made a few nice plays early - and ultimately outscored Thompson, much to the entire team's amusement - it looked as if the Jazz had finally found a way to disrupt the Warriors. The Jazz took their first lead of the series in the second quarter.

The Jazz's Achilles heel this game was their bench, which is odd to see since they were playing so well in the series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Utah will return to Salt Lake City, where they have one of the league's biggest homecourt advantages.

Golden State has not been that impressive their last five trips into Salt Lake City. The Warriors lost Game 3 in all four series past year and endured a four-quarter battle at Portland last month, trailing by 16 points before winning by six.

Quick guide: How the French presidential election works
Hollande, the most unpopular French leader in the country's modern history, decided not to stand for re-election a year ago . Polling agency projections and initial official results are expected as soon as the final stations close at 8pm ( 6pm GMT).

Just about every game appears to be same for the Warriors. Utah hoped the extra rest would have him ready for Game 3, but he didn't progress enough.

On the offensive end, Hill may be even more helpful to Utah's efforts in Game 3. Thompson shot just 1-9 from the floor for 6 points for the game. The Warriors are just 3-3 ATS (Against The Spread) in their six playoff games. Golden State was 14-of-31 from 3-point land in the win. His size and skill make for an impossible check for most teams.

This is exactly the way the Warriors and Kerr should treat this - there is no mad rush to get Kerr back on the sidelines because the real urgency is just to get his life right, to let him experience a series of days free of pain and the worry that the pain might never go away.

In the closing minutes, Durant was more fired up than usual. Rudy Gobert was a monster in the paint, scoring 21 points and collecting 15 rebounds. This was because of the 22 first half points Durant dropped to keep Golden State alive.

Jose Mourinho Says he has No Problems with Arsene Wenger
There may even be a bit of bonhomie due to the apparent détente between José Mourinho and Arsène Wenger. In other words, both Wenger and Mourinho have much bigger issues than each other.

The game's final stretch featured big shots, a little anger and a major sense of release from Durant, who may very well need to face both Leonard and James if he is to claim the first title of his career. Hayward led the game in scoring with 33 points and managed to do so on only 21 shots. Gobert judged his team as "getting better and better" as the series goes along. The replay showed that Green hit the ball, and not Rudy Gobert, so he was understandably upset by the call.

No play. Golden State has been my toughest team to handicap all season. On Saturday night, he missed all three of his treys.

The first game of this series carried on at a slower pace than Utah's 30th ranked regular season pace. He missed almost six weeks in March and early April with a knee sprain and bone bruise, and then sustained a calf strain in Game 1 of the first-round series against Portland.

This is as close to a must-win game as you can get for Utah. Compared to Golden State, however, the experience and depth and star power is lacking. The team in first place? The Utah Jazz are averaging 98.9 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allowing 100.6 points on 47.7 percent shooting. Remarkably, Durant had not appeared in a clutch situation-defined as a five-point scoring margin or less in the final five minutes of regulation or overtime-since a February 4 loss to the Kings. However, Utah's efficacy on the break means that they don't have to take their feet off the gas pedal in transition and pull back for a halfcourt set.
