If Warriors play Spurs next, Tony Parker won't be a factor

The Spurs thoroughly outplayed Houston in the latter stages on Wednesday but will be without point guard Tony Parker for the rest of the postseason after he suffered a ruptured left quadriceps in Game 2.

"It's not good", Popovich said of Parker, who scored 18 points in the win. Here's what he had told the Associated Press about his future Hall of Fame guard before the playoffs began: "If we don't have him, it's going to be a lot tougher to hang with teams like Houston and Golden State, the Clippers, that kind of thing".

He rose to his feet but was unable to put any pressure on his left leg, so he was carried off the court by rookie guard Dejounte Murray and center Dewayne Dedmon.

Manu Ginobili, who formed the infamous Big 3 in San Antonio with Parker and Tim Duncan, hinted that Parker could struggle to return from his injury.

Former Republican congressman Mike Rogers is being considered as a candidate to replace Comey, a senior White House official said. Asked about media reports that Rosenstein this week had threatened to quit, Burr said that issue was not brought up.

Rockets: Houston had scored 100 points in every playoff game this season.

Now the team will have to do precisely that, tied 1-1 with Houston and heading into a pivotal Game 3 on Friday night. He's fifth in total playoff assists with 1,137 and ninth in total playoff scoring with 4,012 points. James (5,777 points) now only trails Michael Jordan (5,987), the player to whom he has been compared since he was a teenager. For the postseason, he was averaging 15.9 points, 3.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game. It certainly wasn't a pretty game to watch, as the Spurs shot 45.3 percent from the field and won thanks to the Rockets' 36.4 shooting percentage. He also became the fourth player in National Basketball Association history (after Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Manu Ginobili) to make 300 playoff three-pointers.

"You never want to see a teammate go down", Mills said, adding that the Spurs had a "sunken feeling" when they saw Parker go down.

James Harden held up his end of the bargain with 43 points, but he received no help from his teammates.

San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich had given a grim assessment of Parker's injury following his team's win.

"I don't know what it is but I just like playing here", he said.

The Spurs in my mind were at least going to make the series interesting between them and the Warriors after they beat the Rockets.

Slaven Bilic hoping West Ham can follow up Tottenham win against Liverpool
Sturridge was previously looking short of confidence but was able to round Adrian and grab his first goal since January 2. Klopp is too stubborn, and just like last week, he'll start Origi, and use Sturridge's injury history as an excuse.
