May Full Moon 2017: When to See the 'Flower Moon' in Bloom

The moon turns full at 4:42 pm.

Sky watchers will have an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the full "flower moon" on Wednesday, May 10. This moon is also known as Corn Planting Moon, as crops are sown in time for harvest, or Bright Moon because this full moon is known to be one of the brightest.
