Android 7.1.1 Nougat update finally arrives on the Moto G4 Play

After the launch of the Moto Z2 Play, the fans have been looking at Lenovo-led Motorola to unveil its flagship device as an answer to the slew of flagship devices from its competitors.

After launching the Moto C in the month of May, now the company is fulfilling its promise of launching several smartphones in the country.

Moto C was launched at a starting price of Euro 119 for 1GBRAM/16GB storage model, thus based on its European market pricing, the smartphone could cost somewhere around Rs 8,300 in India. The event will kick off by 12:00PM. Moto G4 Play owners living in Brazil who haven't been notified on the update can manually check for it by heading to Settings / About phone / Software updates. Moto C Plus sports a 5-inch display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. With 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor, Moto C Plus comes in two variants - 1 GB RAM and 2 GB RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The device includes an 8MP rear camera sensor and a 2MP front sensor. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The phone supports 4G/LTE connectivity as well. Launch of the smartphone is expected to start around noon on Monday, where the price in India will be revealed. So the upcoming smartphone could be priced around this same price range. Online e-commerce website Flipkart has already confirmed that the Moto C Plus will be available via its platform post launch.
