Lindelof was officially confirmed as a United player on Wednesday after a £30.7m fee for the defender was agreed with Benfica last Saturday.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly has 25 names on his transfer wish list, with four of them being top targets for this window.

"He also talked about how he looks at me and why he wants me at the club", Lindelof told Aftonbladet, as quoted by the Independent. I'm very, very happy to be here at this great club so I couldn't be happier.

"He knows everything since March and now it's for him to work, because he will have holidays in August and then I will be working". It was a good chat. "It's not important to me", Lindelof continued.

"There is pressure everywhere", he said. To come to the Premier League, and one of the world's biggest clubs, it's a lot to take in.

"But it's also really fun; very inspiring".
