The jury's foreman said, in a note to Judge Steven O'Neill, "we can not come to a unanimous consensus on any of the counts".

Prosecutors say Cosby, now 79, drugged and sexually assaulted Andrea Constand in 2004.

In the face of the deadlock, Cosby's defense team asked for a mistrial which was denied by Judge Steven O'Neill.

Despite the negative news reports depicting Cosby as a man guilty of sexual assault, he will walk free.

If Cosby is convicted, even on one count, prosecutors will probably petition for his $1 million bail to be overturned so that he be taken into custody immediately.

For four days and nearly 30 hours, the jurors for Bill Cosby's #Criminal Trial have been deliberating the accusations by Andrea Constand that she was sexually assaulted by Cosby in 2004.

"While you should not hesitate to reexamine your own views or change your opinion if your opinion is erroneous, do not feel compelled to surrender your honest belief", O'Neill wrote, according to a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"This is an incredible jury that has just acted with incredible dignity and fidelity", O'Neill said before sending them back to their hotel for the night.

Several jurors smiled or nodded approvingly when the judge said they must be exhausted and should start fresh Friday.

"Hey!" to Cosby as he enters the courthouse every morning, to the woman shouting "We've already won!" while driving a U-Haul truck with an anti-sexual assault message, there's plenty for the myriad of news organizations covering the trial to see. They had listened to Kelly Johnson testify that Cosby drugged and assaulted her too.

Each jury deadlock announcement is met with a defense motion for a mistrial.

As the jurors left for the day, O'Neill heaped praise on them, thanking them for their dedication and the sacrifice they've made being 300 miles from home in the Pittsburgh area.

The case involves Cosbys sexual encounter with Andrea Constand, 44, at his suburban Philadelphia home. Each carries a maximum 10-year prison term, though the counts could be merged at sentencing if he is convicted. Some of them looked defeated as the judge sent them back to the jury room.

As deliberations in Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial continue into a fourth day, nerves are frayed, patience is shot and no one is certain when it will all end.
