High Drama As Deepa Jayakumar Stopped From Entering Aunt Jayalalithaa's Home


Chennai: Former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa Jayakumar on Sunday alleged that her brother Deepak invited her to Poes Garden in order to kill her so that he can stake claim of Veda Nilayam, the residence of "Amma".

Deepa leveled the allegation after high drama at the Poes Garden bungalow, where she reached this morning claiming that after Jayalalithaa's passing away, the house belonged to her.

Sources say that Deepak had arrived at Veda Nilayam to pay tribute to Jayalalithaa on Sunday, as it is considered an auspicious day. The situation turned chaotic after private security inside the Poes Garden residence allegedly roughed up and injured a reporter and a cameraman working with a private English news channel. "However, few goons in the house beaten me and forcibly sent me out", Deepa said.
