A 16-year-old girl is fighting for her life at a hospital in Patna after she was gang-raped allegedly by six men, and thrown off a moving train, in south Bihar's Lakhisarai district.

The survivor, overwhelmed by excruciating pain every time she tries to move her body, told TOI on Sunday that she was attacked when she stepped out of her house to relieve herself. The victim, who suffered huge bleeding and five pelvic bone fractures in the brutal incident, was found in an unconscious state at Kiul railway station on Saturday.

However, the matter came to light on June 17 when local residents found the girl unconscious near the railway station. "Someone grabbed me from behind, gagged and blindfolded me and dragged me to a nearby field".
