"Witch Hunt", the president wrote.

President Donald Trump made a surprising comment about the possible investigation into obstruction of justice for firing former FBI Director James Comey.

About 60 percent of Americans think Trump attempted to obstruct or impede the investigation, the Associated Press/NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll found.

Rosenstein prepared a memo for Attorney General Jeff Sessions back in early May, which raised repeated questions about how Comey had handled the Hillary Clinton email investigation - at first, that seemed to be the basis for Comey's firing by the President, until Mr. Trump said a few days later that the Russian Federation investigation was on his mind.

Comey said it should be special counsel Robert Mueller's task to determine whether Trump had obstructed justice, and therefore, had opened himself up to possible impeachment proceedings, keeping the allegations on Russian Federation in mind.

Mueller is also investigating Trump for obstruction of justice, the Post reported Wednesday.

The transition official said the organization has also separately asked the General Services Administration to preserve records from the Trump transition that were transferred to its facilities after Trump's inauguration. Any such step would face a steep hurdle as it would require approval by the US House of Representatives, which is controlled by Trump's fellow Republicans.

Trump is accused of firing FBI director James Comey over his refusal to steer the Russian Federation investigation away from former national security advisor and Trump ally Mike Flynn. It cited five people briefed on the requests by Mr. Mueller's team who spoke on condition of anonymity.

It led to the Spanish keeper pledging his future to United. "I found out about all this from a newspaper", Perez said. If Ronaldo does leave Real, United will still gain even if he isn't back tearing it up at Old Trafford next season.

Trump and his supporters have repeatedly complained about leaked reports about the progress of Mueller's investigation, many of which have appeared in either the Post or The New York Times. White House officials had no case ready for the dismissal of Comey and received heavy criticism for the conflicting explanations about his departure.

USA intelligence agencies have concluded that Moscow interfered in the 2016 presidential campaign to try to tilt the vote in Trump's favour.

USA TODAY previously reported that the FBI was investigating Kushner for his contact with Russian officials, but there was no word at that time that his financial dealings were part of the probe.

Comey testified last week that he also felt pressured to drop the Flynn probe. The obstruction of justice investigation into Mr. Trump began days after Mr. Comey was sacked on May 9, according to people familiar with the matter, the Washington Post said.

As for what Real would expect to receive in return for selling Ronaldo , Metro says "a €150m (£131m) bid could be enough". He is one of those players who stands out, and whenever there has been a problem we have solved it.

Comey had accused Trump of firing him to try to undermine the FBI's investigation of a possible collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russian Federation in alleged efforts to influence last year's presidential election. It was not immediately clear whether the Federal Bureau of Investigation was the source of the information.
