Arsenal are hoping that some big-name signings this summer can help to convince Sanchez to stay, according to the report.

Ramsey now earns more than £100,000-per-week and is among the club's highest earners - Sanchez and Ozil are top of the pile on £140,000 - and any new contract is likely to come with a pay rise that will keep the 26-year-old at the leading end.

Should Sanchez stay at Arsenal, he will have to make do without Champions League football next season after the Gunners missed out on a top-four finish in the Premier League.
