Grizzled StarCraft veterans and new commanders alike can now pre-purchase the game through the online Blizzard Shop and receive some exclusive in-game rewards. Now with a couple more months of development under its belt, Blizzard is ready to announce that we'll be able to get our hands on StarCraft: Remastered in August this year, with a $15 price tag. It's fairly reasonable as far as pricing as well: the whole package, which includes a remastered StarCraft and the Brood War expansion, will set you back $21.95. The game is now scheduled to launch on August 14, 2017 across PC and MAC. The game will retail for $14.99, which isn't a bad price considering the asking price for most remastered games that have come out recently.

The main features for the remastered edition are the 4K Ultra High Definition graphics, new matchmaking and leaderboard systems. Pre-orders are now live on Battlenet.
