Three keys for the Warriors in Game 3 against the Cavaliers

LeBron James No.23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers attempts to run past Kevin Durant No.35 and Stephen Curry No.30 of the Golden State Warriors during the second half of Game 2 of the 2017 NBA Finals at ORACLE Arena on Monday in Oakland, California. James will head to the broom closet while Durant and Curry celebrate an NBA Finals win on his home court.

Pundits and sports radio shows are pondering a question that has a historically significant cloud hanging over it: If the Golden State Warriors sweep Cleveland to finish the playoffs 16-0, are they the best National Basketball Association team ever?

Warriors forward Kevin Durant, who left Oklahoma City for Golden State last July in hopes of winning his first National Basketball Association crown, had LeBron-like numbers-33 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, five blocked shots and three steals -in a 132-113 romp Sunday in game two.

"We had an opportunity, last game, we cut it to four, and then they made a couple plays here, I think", he said.

"I think that we've got to play our game and play with pace, but we can't let-we can't get in a hurry", he said. The Warriors followed with a 16-4 run that included 3-pointers from Curry and Thompson, a three-point play from Durant in transition and four points from Shaun Livingston. I can get my guys ready, get myself ready.

Even with LeBron James averaging a triple-double through the first two games, Durant has been just as good, if not better.

Warriors want revenge, not NBA history
I know the offense gets most of the attention but our players, they work at it, collectively, individually. Oddsmakers aren't counting them out, but they're also mapping a much different path back into the series.

James and company face a daunting task, trying to best a Warriors team that's playing its best ball of the season. He attended the pregame news conference Sunday and said he had not yet told his players that he would be back coaching, though said they knew in recent days that he was improving. "There is no comparison even though we're down 0-2 going back home". "That's our game. You saw early in the first half when LeBron's able to attack and get downhill with the floor open, that's when we're at our best".

While home court advantage will be nice, Cleveland still must get more from players like Kyle Korver, who is 1-6 from three this series, and Deron Williams, who is 0-9 from the field this series. "It's something that I feel like is - that it's OK for me to kind of always go back and know that I can refocus. And I thought that gave them confidence, gave their crowd confidence", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "Because the last two, three quarters they have come out and jumped on us and done it in a very significant way".

In the first two games of the series - 113-91 and 132-113 Golden State victories - there were multiple problems with that approach. "They won their first two games like they're supposed to".

If the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to rescue these NBA Finals from their current course, they are going to have to do so behind superior effort and execution.

"We're never anxious about him and his shooting and the spotlight that's on that", Curry said of Thompson.

Game 3 is set for Wednesday in Cleveland.

ISIS claims deadly attacks on Iran parliament, shrine
The attackers took control of the parliament and closed all the gates, preventing parliament members from exiting the building. A witness told Reuters that security forces had massed inside and outside parliament, and that the incident was now over.

Limiting mistakes was the main theme of what must change, but the three-time champion says physicality will need to be rolled over.

This would be the flawless time to start playing slow-down basketball.

But Thompson's two-way contributions have become critical to Golden State's identity at both ends of the floor.

An overlooked aspect of Curry's game is his movement away from the ball. "That's what we want".

"But we are here, we're more focused on what happened a year ago like in terms of we were up 2-0 and we came here and the series shifted".
