U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley is closing the door on the possibility of the ambassador's residence moving to Trump Tower.

"The Security Council has failed to even take minimal steps to respond to these violations", Haley told a council meeting on June 29.

The speeches at a Security Council meeting on implementation of a United Nations resolution endorsing the July 2015 nuclear agreement showed the deep division over Iran between the five major powers who view the deal as a major achievement and the Trump administration, which is reviewing it.

Most UN sanctions were lifted 18 months ago under a deal Iran made with world powers to curb its nuclear program.

The resolution called on Iran not to test ballistic missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and an arms embargo remained in place.

Security researchers: Petya malware was created to destroy information, not make money
A new, highly virulent strain of malicious software that is crippling computers globally appears to have been sown in Ukraine. Petya , as some analysts are calling the latest wave of attacks , infects computers and locks down their hard drives.

The head of political affairs of the UN, Jeffrey Feltman, stated that the security Council was divided over whether the launch by Iran of a missile at medium range in January 2017 was, or was not a violation of the resolution.

"Iran's destructive and destabilizing role in the Middle East goes far beyond its illicit missile launches", Haley said. She said that poses the risk that Iran could share that technology with terrorist groups it supports. The five permanent members of the Security Council plus Germany negotiated the deal with Iran. She conceded that Iran is not committing "any violations" of the nuclear deal, but said the regime is defying global resolutions against the development of ballistic missiles created to carry nuclear weapons.

"I call upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to avoid such ballistic missile launches, which have the potential to increase tensions", Guterres said in the report.

The us ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, pointed to the "repeated shootings of ballistic missiles, smuggling, demonstrated weapons", the purchases of missile technology and a violation of a travel ban against military officials of iran, as the evidence that Iran is not respecting its global obligations. Tehran and Moscow argue that language does not make it obligatory.

Sunderland owner Ellis Short ends attempt to sell club
The ex-Leeds gaffer is now on his way to Wearside to thrash out a deal, with a compensation package already agreed with North End. Ellis Short is set to stay on as owner of Sunderland AFC after the club announced they have ended talks with prospective buyers.

The diplomatic achievement, Feltman said, "gives us all hope that even the most hard issues among states can be addressed through dialogue, understanding and reciprocity".

Britain's deputy United Nations ambassador, Peter Wilson, called the Iran agreement "one of the most important diplomatic achievements in recent memory".

Feltman praised the deal as a "diplomatic achievement" while European Union Ambassador Joao Vale de Almeida said it was a "pillar of the global non-proliferation agenda" that "needs to be preserved and fully implemented". "This is an important contribution to security and stability in the region", he said.

Haley stressed that the United States won't "turn a blind eye" to such violations and will interdict cargo prohibited under the U.N. resolution and continue to impose sanctions on Iran. "We just need to keep the pressure on China, we need to keep our eyes on Russian Federation, and we need to continue to let the North Korea regime know we are not looking for regime change ... we just want them to stop the nuclear activity", Haley said. "And the regime's continued oppression of its own people speaks volumes about its true nature".
