The leader of Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) holds the balance of power in the Britain's new Parliament, with its 10 seats helping Mrs May's Tories achieve the parliamentary majority they failed to secure in Thursday's (June 8) general election.
A Downing Street spokesman said that the Prime Minister will visit Buckingham Palace at 12.30pm on Friday to speak to the sovereign.
In a sombre speech after retaining her seat, Mrs May said: "The country needs a period of stability and, whatever the results are, the Conservative party will fulfil our duty of ensuring that stability so we can all go forward together".

It not known yet what sort of deal will be formed between both parties as the choice ranges from a formal coalition or an arrangement, known as "confidence and supply", where the DUP will support the Conservatives' minority government on important matters in return for some of their policies being enacted.
