Prosecutors have released chilling video footage of the rescue of Kala Brown after she was kidnapped by alleged serial killer Todd Kohlhepp in SC in 2016. He was sentenced to life.

Todd Kohlhepp kidnapped Kala Brown, 30, and kept her as a sex slave on his property for around two months before she was rescued.

Yesterday (Friday), prosecutors released this chilling footage of her rescue, in which police can be seen breaking into the container and finding Brown sprawled on the floor, chained to the wall.

The videos also show Todd Kohlhepp, in cold and emotionless detail, confessing to killing seven people in SC.

Kohlhepp murdered Brown's boyfriend Charles Carver, 32, before taking her captive.

Kohlhepp, 46, pleaded guilty May 26 to killing seven people in the Upstate and chaining Brown in a storage container alive. A padlock appeared to keep the chain tight around her neck.

Macron party tops French parliamentary vote - partial official count
More than 50,000 police were on patrol during the vote, with France still jittery after a wave of jihadist attacks across Europe. The projections for French media outlets showed Macron's La République en Marche (LRM) winning more than 32 percent of the vote.

Brown and her boyfriend, Charles David Carver, disappeared from their Anderson apartment August 31 and had gone to Kohlhepp's land believing they would work to help him clean and clear it. She and boyfriend Charlie Carver thought nothing of it when they agreed to go to his isolated SC property to clean a garage.

He shot him. Todd Kohlhepp shot Charlie Carver three times in the chest, wrapped him in a blue tarp, put him in the bucket of the tractor, locked me down here. "He locked me down here. I've never seen him again", she said.

"He says he's dead and buried", the woman said. His statuses about disappearing became stranger from time to time and his family began to suspect.

Authorities say Kohlhepp confessed to killing a married couple and admitted that he killed four people at a Spartanburg County motorcycle shop - murders that were unsolved for 13 years.

The couple had been missing for two months, and Ms Brown's cellphone indicated she might have been in the area when she vanished.

The Greenville News and Independent Mail do not typically name victims of sexual assault, but Brown has openly spoken of her ordeal in a national television interview.

"She wanted Little Caesar's pizza".

Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright says deputies heard the 30-year-old woman chained against the walls of the containers. Kohlhepp killed them in December 2015. If you go down to that building, you'll find an unused package of Newports that I bought for her'. I hate that (expletive). "It gives me heartburn", Kohlhepp said. "Dr. Pepper, cinnamon rolls and freaking Newports".
