Arendas told Buzzfeed News that the message initially passed her by, but when she finally spotted it she chose to send a tongue-in-cheek explanation for her two-month delay in replying: "Sorry, my phone died!". "At the time I had matched with a whole bunch of girls and I took it as a joke", Buzzfeed quoted him as saying.

It took Arendas a couple months to actually return the missive. WHAT? Well, Michelle Arendas and Josh Avsec can.
