In its continued efforts to surpass T-Mobile's customer numbers and regain the USA wireless industry's bronze medal position, Sprint has been "simplifying choice", discounting plans of all types, striking device exclusivity deal after deal, offering sweet music streaming freebies and partnering with Best Buy for some of the craziest promotions on the hottest phones. After 12 consecutive on-time monthly payments, Sprint Deals customers are eligible for an annual upgrade to a new phone.

"Sprint Flex is the ultimate option for consumers who want the latest smartphone at our most competitive prices with maximum flexibility", said Marcelo Claure, Sprint President and CEO. Unlike other carriers, which require the customer to decide to buy up front, Sprint lets customers make the final decision later, so they don't get stuck with their old phone. After 12 months, you can get a free upgrade to a new device.

Sprint is expanding its annual smartphone upgrade programs to now include any smartphone the company markets instead of just Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy handsets. Choose to own the device by paying it off in one payment. All the previous lease payments count towards the purchase price.
