WhatsApp to introduce in-app YouTube playback in iOS app

Users are able to resize the floating window using pinch to zoom, open the video in a full-screen dedicated page, and also hide the window without interrupting playback by docking the video on the size of the chat. Clicking on the link launches the YouTube app to play the video. However that is expected to change in the future.

We recently heard that WhatsApp had started to support more file types and now it looks like more features are coming to the messaging app.

WhatsApp may be now testing a new feature that could save a few headaches. This feature is not available ti the public as it is now in testing phase.
