Death of the actress Jeanne Moreau at the age of 89 years


Throughout her career, she worked with some of the most noted directors in the industry, including Orson Welles, Jean-Luc Godard and Wim Wenders.

French actress Jeanne Moreau has died age 89, according to reports. Moreau, who was richly celebrated in France as a grande dame of post-war cinema, was the victor of best actress prize at Cannes.

Moreau mainly wore simple things-skirtsuits, button-downs, sheath dresses-with the ease and nonchalance of, yes, a French girl.
