Eagles announce tour dates with son of the late Glenn Frey


The Eagles have announced four new concert dates.

As expected, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit are in the band.

They'll be joined by country singer Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, the 24-year old son of Eagles founder, the late Glenn Frey.

The band announced Monday that it will visit Greensboro, North Carolina; Atlanta; Louisville, Kentucky; and Detroit in October. The closest it'll come to Cleveland is Detroit when the band plays the brand new Little Caesar's Arena on October 27.

Despite Don Henley's proclamation following the death of Glenn Frey in January 2016 that the Eagles were over, the band is following its pair of July festival performances with a four-date fall tour.

"While I was still in shock during some interviews after Glenn passed away, I did say I thought that was the end of the band", Don Henley, 69, told the Los Angeles Times after rehearsals for the band's money-making July shows in LA and NY. "I think he'd go, 'That's the ideal way to do this'".
