Korea says it wants to candidly discuss pending issues with NK

SOUTH KOREA's President Moon Jae-in said on Thursday there would be no second war on the Korean Peninsula, after heightened tensions between North Korea and the United States over Pyongyang's nuclear weapons programme.

Next week's start of annual US-South Korean military exercises that enrage the North each year could make diplomacy even more hard.

In an earlier interview with VOA, Ri said North Korea imports up to 200,000 to 300,000 tons of diesel from Russian Federation and some 50,000 to 100,000 tons of gasoline from China every year.
