Lamborghini has launched a new smartphone and you probably can't afford it


Just like the high priced range of its sports vehicle ranges, the phone also costs $2,500 upfront. The company is selling the smartphone on its website at the time of writing and the phone is available for worldwide markets.

The premium vehicle maker said it had assembled the Alpha-One from the "finest materials, including handcrafted Italian leather and liquid alloy developed specifically to resist corrosion whilst remaining "lightweight".

The Italian sports vehicle brand world renowned for its unique auto designs has come up with its own luxury Android phone this time, which has been made available with retailers in the United Kingdom and the UAE.

Additionally, Team Penske's IndyCar driver Helio Castroneves has also been linked to the Acura and Penske's lineup. Powering Acura's new prototype race auto is a twin-turbo AR35TT V6 engine.

Besides the brand name, another key highlight of the Lamborghini Alpha-One is its design. The Android device, which the company debuted today features "Italian handmade black leather" with a custom Italian leather accompanying phone case. But the Alpha One isn't the only ridiculously-priced smartphone Tonino Lamborghini has ever put out.

Alpha One is built from handcrafted Italian leather, and uses liquid alloy for protection against scratches and dents.

Moving towards the specifications, the smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 along with Adreno 530 GPU, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
