Natalee Holloway's Remains May Have Been Discovered in Aruba


Answers might finally be at hand for the family of Natalee Holloway, 12 years after the 18-year-old American student disappeared while on a graduation trip to the Caribbean island of Aruba.

And yes, it all leads back to Jorin van der Sloot.

"When we determined these remains were human, I was shocked", he said.

The prime suspect in Natalee's disappearance is Dutch native Joran van der Sloot - he was the last person to be seen with Natalee when she was alive and is now serving 28 years in prison for a different murder. Van der Sloot is serving a 28-year sentence in Stephanie Flores' death. Just three months ago, Beth Holloway, as well as television news personality Nancy Grace, appeared on ABC's Dr. Oz show where Holloway talked about "her personal health struggle and never-ending battle for justice". De Jong said he never went to the police because he was involved in illegal activities at the time. Prosecutors in Aruba have dismissed De Jong's claims, saying his claims couldn't be true because the building to which he referred had not been built at that time.

"I don't want to get my hopes up this is Natalee", he said.
