A derailed train in New York City's Penn Station delayed morning travel on Wednesday, another incident in regional commuters' "summer of hell".
An Amtrak crew was moving the train into place when the engine derailed inside a tunnel approaching Track 4 about 5:30 a.m., according to WABC. No one was injured and crews were able to re-rail the train just after 6 a.m.

The agency is still investigating what caused the latest derailment, which came during Amtrak's summer-long fix work at Penn Station that has caused several service changes to NJ Transit, Amtrak and Long Island Rail Road schedules since it began July 10. NJ Transit reports that trains are now operating on or close to schedule.
