There's no charge to visit Yosemite or other national parks today

The National Parks Service now offers a lifetime pass to more than 2,000 federal parks and sites to people who are 62 or older for just $10, but as of Monday the price raises to $80.

The America the lovely senior pass for people 62 and older hikes from $10 to $80 because of legislation passed by Congress in December - the first increase since 1994. Additionally, the parks services says that four annual Senior Passes purchased in prior years can be traded for a lifetime pass.
