Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, has been adamant that Sánchez will not be sold this summer, despite the Chile worldwide entering the final 12 months of his contract.
Sanchez, whose future at Arsenal has been a talking point for most of the year, was ruled out of the Gunners' Premier League opener with Leicester last week due to an abdominal strain, with Arsene Wenger stating his star forward was likely to be "out for a while".
Wenger also provided an update on the fitness of the dynamic attacker, indicating that he will not be ready for next weekend's trip to Stoke but may well be available for the game against Liverpool at Anfield on August 27.
Trump condemns African-American CEO who stepped down from panel after Charlottesville
Tesla CEO Elon Musk also resigned from the council in June after President Trump pulled out of the Paris climate agreement. Hours later, Trump caved to pressure and made a stronger statement condemning racism, white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
"At the moment he is a player who goes into final year of his contract and prepares for the season".
It has been well-reported that the club are struggling to convince him to sign and, yesterday, Wenger said: "We have not progressed on that front".
Rumours persist that a move away is on the cards with Wenger so far resisting the temptation to cash in on the 28-year-old. "In the past year, he has made huge progress and I want him to stay here for a long time".
China suspends seafood and iron imports from North Korea
The governor of Guam has given his support to what he described as Donald Trump's "punch to the nose" strategy on North Korea. Images of abject pain in the Korean War haunted Pastor Chongho Kim's father years after the conflict's armistice agreement.
"His recovery is going very well, he is working very hard. We have got to be cautious with a muscular strain not to have any setback on it".
The Arsenal boss has insisted that he is prepared to take a financial hit and lose Sanchez for free next summer, rather than allow him to leave in the final two weeks of the window.
And Wenger again rejected comparisons with the situation Diego Costa is experiencing with Chelsea. "I don't think there is any comparison at all because we want him [Sanchez] to be with us and Chelsea does not necessarily want that".
