Harry Redknapp departs Birmingham City


The Harry Redknapp era at Birmingham City has come to an end.

Redknapp took charge at St Andrew's with three games remaining last term and the 70-year-old was able to preserve their Championship status with victories in the final two matches.

After guiding the team to survival last season, the former Tottenham manager brought 14 players into the club in the Transfer Window, but has not seen results improve.

There was supposed to be another hearing on September 28 to see if Richmond will be allowed to stay on the team permanently. He's seeking reinstatement to the team's active roster along with attorney fees and an unspecified amount of damages.
