Iran successfully tests new 2000km-range missile

Iran's state-run broadcast said earlier Saturday, however, that the country had test-launched a ballistic missile capable of reaching Israel, which Trump acknowledged via Twitter.

The broadcaster says the missile is capable of carrying multiple warheads.

Under the deal between Iran, Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States, Tehran agreed to restrict its nuclear program in return for the lifting of economic sanctions that had crippled its economy.

Mr Trump said this week he has reached a decision on the nuclear deal, but hasn't revealed what it is. They also work with north Korea. Last week, Netanyahu met with President Donald Trump to discuss 2015 nuclear agreement as well as Iran's regional behavior.

Officials have said Trump might use the October 15 deadline for certifying to Congress whether Iran is in compliance with the nuclear deal to either declare Iran in violation or determine that the agreement is no longer in the national security interest of the U.S.

Any move by Washington to cancel the agreement would be a "terrible signal" for all other efforts to use diplomacy to halt nuclear weapons programmes, such as those of North Korea.
