Vehicle careens into Boise crowd, sends 11 to hospital


It happened at about 10:20 a.m. Saturday during two events at the complex, Cars and Coffee and Rock'N Brews & BBQ.

The Boise Police Department says preliminary information indicates the driver accelerated rapidly and lost control while leaving the event, crashing into several pedestrians on the sidewalk. The people hurt had serious but not critical injuries, said Boise Police Lt. Charles LeBar.
