Futuremark's testing - using actual performance data - proves that Apple did not deliberately make your iPhone slow with iOS 11, or previous iOS releases.

With the new Apple iOS 11 update in September there came new enhancements for your iPhone and iPad and newly updated apps appearing almost every day. Not according to a new set of benchmarks from Futuremark. Some rumors have even suggested that Apple may do this on goal to encourage you to buy a newer device, this is not the case.

Based on the scores, Futuremark concluded that the iPhone 5s' performance has remained constant from iOS 9 to iOS 11.

Standard features like a fingerprint scanner, Gyroscopic sensor and infra-red sensor will also make its way towards the Honor 7X . Honor 7X will come in two variants - 3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage .

As we can see from the tests, Apple does not intentionally slow down older devices when they release a new version of their software. New apps developed for the latest models might not run as smoothly on older devices.

Futuremark, in fact says that Apple is doing a good job in maintaining the performance of the older iPhones across the iOS versions by providing them with regular updates. Over the years, the app has added more and more features and has grown more processor-intensive.
